Kevin Rolon played baseball at the Puerto Rico Baseball Academy & High School and graduated in 2016. He went on to play at Broward Community College in Florida as a shortstop.
The following year, Kevin transferred to Cowley Community College, ranked 5th in NJCAA at that moment. At Cowley, Kevin hit .312 avg, 5 HRs, and 28 RBIs in 47 games.
In 2018, Kevin transferred to the University of the Cumberlands, a NAIA University in Kentucky. Kevin attended Cumberlands for 3 years, earning his bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sports Science with a Minor in Public Health. His career numbers there were .334 avg, 18 HRS, 85 RBIs, and 132 Hits in 131 games. He helped the team win the conference championship in 2021, and helped the team reach their highest ranking in school program history (3rd in the Nation). Kevin earned First Team All-Conference shortstop twice (2019,2021), and he led the conference in batting average against conference teams in 2019.
After finishing at the University of the Cumberlands in 2021, Kevin went to play in a semiprofessional league in Puerto Rico with the Montañeses de Utuado, finishing as runner ups in the division championship series.
Kevin recently signed a professional contract with the Ottawa Titans from the Frontier league (Cam-Am division), an MLB partnered league, in December of 2021, and he is going to be playing with them in 2022.
