Excellent analytical skill in evaluating players as well as the ability to deal and negotiate signings bonuses and baseball contracts.

Arnold was a Major League Scout for the Los Angeles Angels from 2003-2006 & the Arizona Diamondbacks from 1995-2000. As a scout he signed Alex Cintron for the Arizona Diamondbacks & Martin Maldonado for the Los Angeles Angels.

Arnold was an infielder for the Texas Rangers from 1984-1986, the Cleveland Indians from 1980-1983 & Leones de Ponce Winter League from 1983-1985.
